Well the only thing you can't be on your first day is an Officer! Apart from that the society is a virtual reality entrance into the seventeenth century. You can choose your own role before hand or you can just as easily turn up and do a different thing everytime. Obviously from our Officers point of view they would like to know at the commencement of a muster what your intentions are but it's up to you; Pike one day, Musket the next, with a go on the cannon on the third day. All we ask is that whatever your choice is, you practise the art beforehand by taking the relevant drill.
