Camping How will I know where to camp? When you have been registered you will be given an information sheet, giving the details of telephones, buses, pubs etc., and you will be told where your regiment is camping. If you so happen to be the first member of the regiment to arrive at the campsite you will have the task of choosing the campsite! At your first event, you should find one of the officers as soon as possible to tell them who you are. If you are not a member but have come to see if you want to become one you should let the officer know. They will help you find a place and introduce you to other members of the regiment including the membership secretary as it may be necessary to fill in an Associate membership form. What about my children? During battles and at drill, the children need to be closely supervised to ensure they don't wander off towards the battlefield. Although we do not have an organised crèche system operational (offers anyone?) there are normally responsible people around the campsite all the time that are normally willing to supervise elder, well behaved children. What about pets?
